1. Cancellation Requests

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email or WhatsApp. Cancellation requests shall be considered valid only after acknowledgment by MeraTripBanao.

2. Supplier-Based Charges

Many travel services, including hotels, transportation providers, airlines, houseboats, and activity providers, operate under their own cancellation policies. Refunds are subject to the cancellation rules, charges, and refund conditions imposed by these suppliers.

3. Service Fees

Any planning fees, consultation fees, processing charges, convenience fees, or non-refundable service fees charged by MeraTripBanao may not be refundable.

4. Refund Timeline

Approved refunds will generally be processed within 7 to 30 business days, depending on the policies of the relevant service providers, banks, payment gateways, and payment methods used during booking.

5. No-Show Policy

No refunds may be available for unused services, no-shows, missed departures, late arrivals, voluntarily abandoned bookings, or services not utilized by the traveler, unless specifically approved by the relevant service provider.

6. Force Majeure

Refunds may not be available for cancellations resulting from circumstances beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, weather disruptions, government restrictions, strikes, civil disturbances, security concerns, road closures, transportation interruptions, pandemics, or similar unforeseen events.

7. Partial Refunds

Where applicable, only the refundable portion received from the supplier may be passed on to the customer after deducting applicable cancellation charges, service fees, banking charges, and administrative expenses.

8. Refund Method

Refunds will generally be issued through the original payment method wherever possible. In cases where this is not feasible, an alternative refund method may be used subject to applicable regulations and verification requirements.
